About the position

The Project Manager will oversee the development and implementation of data warehouse projects within the healthcare domain. This role requires a deep understanding of data management processes, technical knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage data warehouse development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business needs.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate resources and manage project teams, facilitating communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle and prepare comprehensive project documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data warehousing and healthcare technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience in data warehouse development, specifically within the healthcare sector.
  • Proven experience in data warehouse development processes and methodologies.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data models, including star and snowflake schemas, to support analytical requirements.
  • Proficient in designing and developing ETL workflows to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful dashboards and reports from the data warehouse.
  • Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing code and ETL scripts in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud data warehouse solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and data interoperability is desirable.
