About the position

The Technical Project Manager at NTT DATA is responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of complex projects, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and managing project budgets. This role requires a strong foundation in infrastructure and architecture, as well as expertise in project management methodologies such as Scrum and Agile. The position is designed for a senior-level professional with extensive experience in managing cross-functional teams and fostering an environment of engineering excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorming and planning project execution and delivery
• Scheduling and designating project tasks to team members
• Executing each phase of the project
• Managing the project's budget
• Communicating with all stakeholders
• Ensuring teams are building using modern practices and tools
• Mentoring and growing team members
• Removing blockers and finding paths forward in challenging situations

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in managing the lifecycle for complex cross-functional projects
• 7+ years of experience in establishing collaborative relationships with product management, governance, UX design, vendors, and other teams
• 7+ years of experience in defining and organizing programs, analyzing data, and driving performance improvements
• 7+ years of experience fostering an environment of engineering excellence and innovation
• 7+ years of experience working closely with development teams to build and launch new products

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of service level agreements (SLA) and system performance
• Experience in planning, standups, demos, retrospectives, and sprint execution
• Ability to cultivate operational excellence within teams
• Experience in ensuring timely resolution of identified production defects
