About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on technical projects. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. The Technical Project Manager will lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This includes ensuring all software, systems, applications, and information systems comply with the client organization’s Authority to Operate (ATO). The role also involves coordinating and procuring all AWS space and services required to maintain the current system and scale appropriately for expected growth. In this position, you will collaborate with technical team members, clients, and stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables. You will develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Assessing and communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management is crucial. Regular project meetings will be conducted to provide updates to team members and clients, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. The Technical Project Manager will be expected to demonstrate exceptional leadership and project management skills, managing large teams, subcontractors, and vendors. The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and provide a high attention to detail is essential. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with problem-solving and decision-making abilities, are key to interfacing effectively with clients, project team members, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Ensure all software, systems, applications, and information systems comply with client organization Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Coordinate and procure all AWS space and services required to maintain the current system and scale appropriately for expected growth.
• Collaborate with technical team members, clients, and stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Assess and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to team members and clients.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Health, Science).
• 3+ years' experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification.
• Agile Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
• Experience managing large teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver multiple tasks that vary in scale and complexity.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, provide a high attention to detail, and respond to challenges with a high degree of adaptability, sound judgment, and comfort in establishing new directions and managing change.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications and problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with clients, project team members, and colleagues.
