About the position

The Technical Project Manager for the Cloud Adoption Team at DNI Investments will oversee and deliver cloud adoption planning and technical assistance to programs aimed at modernizing public health systems. This part-time role involves collaborating with various teams to develop migration strategies, solution architecture designs, and ensuring efficient cloud resource provisioning while facilitating governance and compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and enterprise architecture consultation for cloud adoption.
• Assist in developing migration approaches and solution architecture designs.
• Streamline program requests for cloud resources in Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Coordinate with the CDC Enterprise Cloud Team for efficient cloud resource provisioning.
• Support cloud resources governance, planning, and management.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in cloud adoption projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
• Experience in enterprise architecture and solution design.
• Familiarity with cloud governance frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• 5 years of experience in cloud project management.
• 5 years of experience with Azure.
