About the position

The Technical Project Manager - Presales (TPM) role is designed for an experienced professional looking to blend technical project management with strategic presales activities. This position focuses on leading impactful IT projects while also engaging in business development, shaping solutions, crafting proposals, and interacting with clients to secure new business opportunities. The role emphasizes both execution and strategy, allowing for the refinement of technical skills and expansion into business development.

Responsibilities

• Technical project management using SQL Server, .NET framework, systems integration, and data conversion.
• Utilize HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or .NET Core for web development.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG standards for accessibility in web and portal solutions.
• Apply agile project management principles and tools like DevOps and Jira to manage projects and client interfaces.
• Continuously assess and improve project management processes based on best practices.
• Manage multiple complex projects, ensuring efficiency within timelines and budgets.
• Assign work to project team members based on skills and availability.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and communication with stakeholders.
• Lead capture management for RFPs and RFIs, developing capture strategies.
• Collaborate with teams to design IT solutions tailored to client needs.
• Manage the proposal development process from planning to submission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
• A master's degree and/or project management certification is preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in supervising IT-related programs or projects.
• Strong knowledge of database management using SQL Server and software development using .NET framework.
• Good understanding of accessibility standards and web portal performance.
• Experience with Agile delivery methods and familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale software implementations.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Project Management, Agile, or similar qualifications.
