Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end technical programs related to Li-S product development and business growth initiatives.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and resource management to ensure timely delivery.
• Work closely with cell engineering, product management, business development, and marketing teams to align technical execution with business strategy and customer needs.
• Oversee the development and delivery of customized Li-S cell and module products or product improvements from concept through commercialization.
• Act as a technical point of contact and subject matter expert, representing the voice of the customer, for various teams within the company.
• Collaborate with business development teams to assess new market opportunities, product feasibility, and potential partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvements in project management processes, tools, and techniques to ensure operational excellence.
• Engage with senior leadership, external partners, and customers to provide updates on program status, resolve issues, and ensure that key business objectives are being met.
• Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical program management, ideally in product development or business development in the field of battery materials and process development.
• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects from inception to delivery.
• Experience working with product development teams, business development teams, and external partners to deliver technical solutions.
• Strong technical acumen and understanding of product development processes.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with an ability to think critically and strategically.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, etc.).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in materials science, advanced manufacturing, as it relates to lithium ion, and beyond lithium ion battery technologies.
• Familiarity with business development processes and the ability to evaluate market opportunities and technical feasibility.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience in energy storage solutions for micromobility, aerospace, consumer electronics, grid-level storage or automotive.
