About the position

Red Digital is seeking a dynamic and innovative Technical Project Manager to coordinate a variety of complex technical projects. This role serves as a key point of contact for a diverse, cross-functional team, providing leadership and guidance while interacting with senior levels of the organization. The position is based on campus in Fort Mill, SC, and requires collaboration with various teams to develop and execute plans that drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with diverse teams to develop, organize, and execute cross-functional plans for delivering tools/systems/integrations that drive growth.
  • Coordinate and assist with quarterly planning with the Portfolio Manager.
  • Work with Directors of Engineering and Analysts to coordinate technical development efforts, track projects, and manage operational implementation processes.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs to maximize business benefit.
  • Discover true requirements underlying feature requests and recommend alternative technical approaches.
  • Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and provide updates.
  • Roadmap and prioritize projects with engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Assess incoming feature requests and determine level of effort with engineering teams.
  • Set and manage expectations around work required to launch and maintain key revenue programs.
  • Communicate deliverables, red flags, and accountability for next steps with stakeholders.
  • Manage time tracking and software capitalization estimates for developed work.
  • Act as Scrum Leader/Agile Coach for teams.
  • Contribute to progress tracking and reporting on all technical workstreams.
  • Facilitate meetings and communicate project expectations and deadlines to team members.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in Technical Project Management.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and manage multiple medium to large size technical projects.
  • Thorough understanding of software processes (development, configuration, testing, and deployment).
  • Technical background in software development or data infrastructure.
  • Experience managing efforts implementing and maintaining web and API standards.
  • Proven track record of developing and refining processes.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and delegate teams appropriately.
  • Experience driving process improvement.
  • Experience tracking project metrics within the agile development framework.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Strong problem solving capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Systems or a related field.
  • PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master Certification or equivalent work experience.
