About the position

The Technical Project Manager for the Regulatory Program is responsible for managing projects within the Regulatory Program Team of the Information Services Group (ISG). This role involves partnering with key internal stakeholders to drive end-to-end project management for regulatory programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory timelines and standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, particularly in technology change management, and will be expected to communicate effectively with various teams to implement regulatory mandates.

Responsibilities

  • Support/manage high priority regulatory projects across their lifecycle by identifying and structuring problems, analyzing requirements, project scope and planning, and communicating project deliverables.
  • Define project scope and objectives, gather, analyze, validate, and manage project requirements.
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact regulatory requirements and implementation framework through in-depth analysis and evaluation of regulatory mandates, systems, and industry standards.
  • Attend regulatory meetings as a representative of the ISG organization on regulatory matters, recording meeting summaries and follow-up actions for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Effectively partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across Technology/ISG and Businesses to promote a more integrated approach to regulatory relations.
  • Drive tactical and strategic planning to ensure program corrective action plans are met, including identification, documentation, and reviews of multiple deliverables before distributing to Regulators.
  • Maintain awareness of changing industry trends, competition, and regulations that impact the success of the lending business.
  • Implement controls to enhance the integrity of key management reporting.
  • Identify risks, communicate impact, and propose risk mitigation options.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in project management, particularly in technology change management.
  • Experience in the finance domain, with a basic understanding of products like equities, derivatives, commodities, capital markets, bonds, and GSP.
  • Excellent communication skills to negotiate internally and guide, influence, and convince colleagues across ISG and outside.

  • Knowledge and experience in the Regulatory domain.
  • Experience with FCA and EMR.
