The Technical Project Manager works with cross-functional departments to develop eCOA/ePRO project/program timelines and oversee the operational aspects of technology. This role ensures that software product content aligns to support project team requirements, study training, customer acceptance requirements, device preparation, and study delivery schedules. The Technical Project Manager will monitor and analyze project status to identify potential risks and mitigations, escalate risks to leadership and stakeholders, and follow through to resolution. Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate, and manage technology deployment plans that include study-specific development, validation, and translations.
  • Coordinate deployment activities such as study setup and configuration, UAT, customer demonstrations, training, device preparation, verification, and shipment.
  • Work with assigned project lead, product development, validation, and translations to align technology delivery plan to meet project team and customer study dates.
  • Coordinate resources from other teams (Customer Support, Projects) as needed to meet schedule commitments.
  • Report study specific needs as requirements in the backlog.
  • Collaborate with scientists, business analysts, project teams, data management teams, and sponsors to ensure product capabilities and study configuration support the study protocol and data collection processes.
  • Communicate plans, product dependencies, and functional gaps to all stakeholders and escalate risk mitigation actions.
  • Demonstrate to customers a solid understanding of product capabilities.
  • Document and maintain the release management processes, records, and training plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred in Computer Science, Engineering or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of work experience in a professional environment with increasing responsibility, technical environment experience preferred.
  • 1 year experience supporting external client-facing projects or programs.
  • Experience working with technology platforms in clinical trials preferred (i.e. Site Coordinator, Trial Manager).
  • Demonstrated experience by leading by influence.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects.
  • Strong analytical problem solving, negotiating, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask.
  • Proven track record interfacing with and managing multiple internal and external resources.
  • Ability to support and build collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions using sound judgment.
  • Ability to see the big picture as well as work hands-on.
  • Ability to proactively recognize project challenges and implement effective action plans.
  • Strong initiative and positive attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in clinical trials management.
