GovCIO is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Health PMO team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with civil agencies, particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role requires a dynamic approach as client needs are often evolving, necessitating thought leadership, problem-solving skills, and a rapid learning ability. The successful candidate will need to carry an innovative mindset to guide clients through the processes of conceptualization, strategic planning, and execution. Flexibility and forward-thinking perspectives are crucial for success in this position. In this role, the Technical Project Manager will manage various Agile delivery models, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Lean Kanban, and DevSecOps. Responsibilities include supporting program management, governance, oversight, and executive-level reporting. The manager will handle competing priorities, address data calls, and provide ongoing progress reports. They will document and recommend technical management approaches for projects and products, manage parallel projects under complex programs, and create strategic roadmaps aligned with operational goals. The Technical Project Manager will also be responsible for tracking and monitoring project performance metrics, serving as an escalation point for customer concerns, and providing leadership to direct reports and stakeholders. They will support product teams in automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices, manage requirements implementation across projects, and report on project schedules, risks, and budgets. Additionally, the role involves conducting research, analyzing information needs, and creating project deliverables that adhere to quality standards. Excellent presentation skills are required to synthesize complex information into clear visualizations using tools like PowerPoint and Visio.
