About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee and drive migration project plans within Cognizant's Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security Services Practice. This role focuses on modernizing infrastructure and optimizing operations to meet the evolving needs of digital transformation. The position requires collaboration with infrastructure teams to ensure the design and development of scalable and secure enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive migration project plans for various cloud environments including Physical to Physical, Virtual to Virtual, and Hybrid Cloud datacenter builds.
• Implement operational optimization strategies and processes across all aspects of infrastructure.
• Utilize tools like Device42 to collect resource utilization and application dependency mappings.
• Lead and build consensus among infrastructure teams for the design and development of infrastructure building blocks.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in Cloud infrastructure management.
• PMP certification and project management experience.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
• At least 10 years of experience with VMware, physical servers, storage, and backup systems.
