As a Technical Project Manager within the Service Delivery Center at EY, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering complex projects that span various financial sectors. This position is designed for a Senior Analyst who is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance business operations and drive growth. You will be part of a newly formed group within the Service Delivery Center, which is dedicated to providing project-based work and managed services to our Financial Services Organization (FSO) clients. Your contributions will be crucial in helping businesses realize the value of their IT investments by supporting strategic initiatives and improving customer experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and developing project charters, scopes, and schedules, as well as planning and assigning resources effectively. You will advise and consult with various departments regarding production software issues, ensuring that all project communications and cost management aspects are handled efficiently. Your ability to create a project organization structure, identify key team members, and communicate the project plan will be essential in aligning all stakeholders. You will conduct kickoff meetings with stakeholders to announce project starts and review overall plans, while also measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Your strong negotiation skills will be vital as you manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring that the project plan remains accurate and reflective of any authorized changes. Additionally, you will identify high-level risks and implement approved actions to mitigate their impact on the project. Your role will also involve developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders beyond IT services, including finance, communications, and legal departments, to address all potential downstream implications of projects. You will work closely with system end users to understand business functions, document requirements, and analyze current business processes to identify gaps. Your documentation skills will be put to use as you create system requirements and maintain system protocols, ensuring that all procedures are up to date and accessible for reference.
