About the position

The Technical Project Manager will lead multi-year or division-wide technology-related projects, applying technical expertise to improve project results. This role involves managing technology projects or technical workstreams within a broader project or program, developing, implementing, and monitoring project plans, and contributing expertise to major project deliverables and milestones.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology projects or technical workstreams within a broader project or program.
• Develop, implement, and monitor project plans.
• Contribute expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
• Provide insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with overall department and business requirements.
• Communicate project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Proactively foster communication between internal and external project stakeholders.
• Influence key decisions across stakeholder groups.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and related issues on technology projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing technology-related projects.
• Strong technical expertise in project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to convey project status and issues to stakeholders.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
