About the position

The Technical Project Manager at BeneSys, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects, particularly focusing on software development projects utilizing SDLC processes and Agile methodologies. This role acts as a liaison between technical and operational teams, ensuring projects are executed efficiently from conception to delivery. The position requires strong leadership in project governance, resource management, and communication with stakeholders to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning activities.
• Coordinate and manage QA & UAT processes.
• Define project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities.
• Architect project plans to ensure governance and transparency.
• Align resource requirements and manage resource availability.
• Track projects through their lifecycle and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and manage changes in schedule or budget.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to drive project success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• At least 2+ years working in SDLC environments.
• Expert experience with project management tools like Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Expert experience with Excel and other data analytical tools.
• Education or experience in computer science or information systems preferred.
• CAPM or equivalent required; PMP/PgMP preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in healthcare and/or financial services.
• Experience managing both technical and non-technical projects.
