About the position

As a Technical Project Manager at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the mission's continuity by delivering cloud solutions and operational support to the Intelligence Community. Your responsibilities will include overseeing applications architecture, coordinating software development, and providing technical expertise to solve complex IT issues. This position emphasizes the importance of customer service and the impact of your work on national security.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical resource providing strategic oversight and planning for applications architecture and design.
• Coordinate the development of new software system applications.
• Provide technical expertise in software architecture.
• Document and design software specifications for software engineers/developers.
• Produce software prototypes to demonstrate application of design.
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, and network connectivity.
• Lead development of system prototypes to demonstrate application of design principles.
• Assign technical experts for all major projects and associated reviews.
• Monitor trends in system architecture and software development and engineering.
• Recommend training in software development technologies.

Requirements

• 15+ years of related experience in project management and systems engineering.
• Proficient in IDEs, programming languages, Git, Jenkins, and Confluence.
• US Citizenship is required.
