About the position

Kadiak LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support Federal clients in managing complex fixed and mobile communications modernization projects. The role involves acquisition support, engineering, and technical project management, requiring daily interaction with government representatives. Candidates must possess a valid Top Secret Clearance and have a strong background in project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, tracks, and resolves all project risks and issues.
• Establishes, modifies, implements, and monitors systems and procedures to enhance timely and efficient workflow.
• Maintains several schedules for various projects in different stages.
• Communicates effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Leads a team when required and motivates employees as needed.
• Exhibits flexibility and the ability to multi-task.
• Acts as a liaison among customers, employees, and vendors.

Requirements

• Must possess a current active Top Secret clearance based on a T5/T5R investigation concluded within the past 42 months.
• PMP certification required within 6 months of employment.
• 7 years of specific project management experience, including acquisition.
• 10 years of general project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Project/Program Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Nice-to-haves

• DAWIA certification (optimal but not required).
• Experience working closely with a Project Management Office (PMO).
