About the position

The Technical Project Manager for the Helion Developer Network will oversee the design and development of the HDN website, ensuring that technology reaches the right audience and is well understood by key influencers. This role involves managing a small development team, coordinating with an external UI design agency, and integrating various website components to deliver a high-quality product on time.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end design and development of the HDN website.
• Coordinate a small development team and external UI design agency.
• Architect and oversee integration of various website components including identity, CMS, event registration, and document management.
• Take full responsibility for on-time delivery and quality of the website.
• Manage ongoing changes and updates to the website.

Requirements

• Strong project and time management skills.
• 10+ years' experience in external facing websites (as a Developer, QA, PM, etc.).
• 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager (preferably on the Development side).
• Previous experience in Development (Javascript, PHP, Drupal, and WordPress; Java/JSP & Ruby a plus).
• Direct technical expertise on website architecture, design, and integration.
• Understanding of website components and integration across systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively across organizations and stakeholders to drive results.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and diverse environment where responsibilities and requirements change daily.
• Extrovert with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Maturity and ability to influence across teams.
• University or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
