About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software development, project management methodologies, and a proven track record of successful project implementation. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a keen understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage all phases of the project life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans that outline tasks, timelines, resources, and milestones.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project components.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against established metrics; adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure clarity in project goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop disaster recovery plans to mitigate potential issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle for future reference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in program management with a focus on enterprise software projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with PMBOK principles and project management tools.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and translating them into actionable tasks for development teams.
  • Proficiency in working with databases and understanding data management principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP certification (Preferred)
  • Experience with Wrike (1 year required)
  • Ability to commute to Austin, TX (Preferred)
  • Willingness to relocate to Austin, TX before starting work (Required)

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay ranging from $63.49 to $67.02 per hour.
