The Technical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the long-range planning and execution of technical projects within the organization. This position requires a strong background in SAFe Agile project management, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring investment costs on a monthly basis and taking corrective actions to ensure financial accuracy. This role involves steering technical program conversations, particularly those related to architectural approaches and system design, and articulating effective solutions. The Technical Project Manager will co-develop and document these solutions, ensuring that they align with the overall program-level goals. In addition to technical oversight, the Technical Project Manager will contribute to prioritization discussions, assessing the feasibility, capacity, and risk of various plans. Collaboration is key in this role, as the individual will work closely with product and engineering leaders to build comprehensive delivery roadmaps. The Technical Project Manager will drive coordination and alignment between Product Owners, Architects, and Engineers to meet both regulatory and technical requirements, ensuring that all teams are working towards common objectives. The role also involves anticipating, tracking, and resolving risks and impediments to delivery, as well as identifying and addressing complex inter-team technical dependencies. The Technical Project Manager will be proactive in seeking opportunities for improvements to the delivery process, working with relevant teams to redesign process flows as necessary. Consistency across workstreams is crucial, and the Technical Project Manager will develop documentation to ensure ongoing maintenance and development of solutions. Participation in PI planning meetings and other Agile ceremonies is expected, along with facilitating and planning change management and release management activities. The Technical Project Manager will follow and instill documentation best practices to ensure that designs meet all requirements and will monitor compliance with SDLC standards. Regular updates for leadership will be provided, consolidating inputs and facilitating meetings to discuss delivery status and key decisions needed to support project and program delivery. The Technical Project Manager will also track and interpret relevant OKR/KPIs, identifying key insights and next steps. Mentorship and guidance for team members on domain knowledge, delivery, and agile processes will be an essential part of this role.
