About the position

Acuative Corporation is seeking a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for the on-time and on-budget delivery of all assigned projects. The successful candidate will manage project scope, minimize variance, and prevent scope creep. This role requires strong business acumen, time management skills, budget management capabilities, and analytical skills. The Technical Project Manager is expected to deliver positive, value-added outcomes for both the company and its clients. Candidates must be able to work independently on project planning while also collaborating with a high-energy project team. The primary duties include developing detailed project plans that encompass scope, objectives, deliverables, and reporting requirements. The Project Manager will validate that technical requirements and solutions align with the core competencies of the company or its affiliated vendors. They will work closely with sales support to provide necessary input prior to contract execution and align internal resources, third-party partners, and logistics to ensure excellence in project delivery. This includes leading and mentoring project coordinators assigned to the project. The Technical Project Manager will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. They will provide periodic reports to internal customers, senior leadership, and external clients, using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. The role also involves measuring project performance using appropriate KPIs and metrics, managing relationships with key stakeholders and customers, mitigating risks in delivery, and creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. The candidate should have the ability to drive continuous improvement using proven tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 5-7 years successful experience in a project manager role, preferably in the IT services industry.
• Bachelor's degree in project management or technical field preferred.
• Strong technical skills and understanding of hardware deployments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail while multi-tasking.
• PMP certification preferred.
