Zero Gravity Marketing is seeking a Technical Project Manager who will play a pivotal role in managing projects across various content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, and BigCommerce. This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that the candidate can effectively manage multiple projects and timelines. The ideal candidate will not need to be a developer but should possess a strong confidence in navigating web-based UIs for CMS and e-Commerce management. A foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, a bit of JavaScript, and htaccess for redirects is essential to facilitate effective communication with technical teams and clients. In this role, the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, establishing milestones, and setting timelines to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, as they will be managing project budgets and estimating tasks while tracking progress against these budgets. The ability to work collaboratively with other account team members to manage overlapping timelines is crucial, as is the capacity to forecast and manage workloads in a responsive and communicative manner. The Technical Project Manager will also be tasked with providing clear and concise technical communication to account executives, clients, and team members. This includes the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a way that is easily understood by non-technical stakeholders. The candidate will need to take detailed notes during meetings and calls, translating these into actionable tasks for the team. Monitoring day-to-day project activities, adjusting timelines as necessary, and maintaining quality work that adheres to QA procedures and success criteria are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the role involves executing technical discovery for features and functionality requirements, writing Statements of Work (SOW) for client approvals, and ensuring a seamless documentation process between team members. The Technical Project Manager will oversee content production in CMS, maintain a strong aesthetic eye, perform quality assurance documentation, and conduct pre-launch testing. Regular communication and documentation of project status to team members and management are essential, along with the ability to escalate issues through the appropriate channels when necessary.
