About the position

As the Project Manager for the Product Support Operations (PSO) at KLA, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing service support strategies and improving processes on a global scale. This position involves collaborating closely with the PSO management team to craft and develop comprehensive service improvement project plans. Your responsibilities will encompass creating detailed schedules, allocating resources, defining business requirements, and designing the necessary infrastructure and systems while adhering to budget constraints. You will also be tasked with developing mitigation plans to address any project changes, scope creep, or delays that may arise during the project lifecycle. In this role, you will lead and train technical personnel on new procedures and processes, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the project goals. You will track project requirements, achievements, and schedules, providing regular updates and progress reports to management. Coordination will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, as you will manage all elements of a project, including tasks, resources, and collaborators. You will also handle conflicts between different project aspects, make trade-offs between competing requests, and evaluate resource allocation to ensure project success. Additionally, you will establish a support strategy for ramping processes, infrastructure, and personnel globally. This includes tracking and reporting on infrastructure design and reliability issues to IT support teams. You will run efficient meetings, assign ownership of tasks, track project progress, and generate meeting minutes and action items. Working closely with the management team, you will inspire change and foster a positive change management environment while effectively handling project risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Your goal will be to streamline processes to enhance efficiency and drive progress within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Master's Level Degree and 1 year of related work experience; or Bachelor's Level Degree and 3 years of related work experience.
  • Experience with project management tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of process quality improvement methods.
  • Experience in service delivery for capital equipment.
  • Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
  • Experience in enterprise process development and release.
  • Strong analytical, database, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence process partners and drive multi-functional improvement.
