About the position

The Technical Project Manager is a member of the Program Management Organization at 3Degrees. You will be responsible for understanding and translating business requirements, processes, and workflows into actionable project plans. Collaborating with both the internal application development team and external vendors, you will drive the execution of systems enhancements, new applications, and new services. You will manage projects independently that power the company's sales, finance, legal and trading teams and you are qualified to significantly enhance our company's operations, delivering high-quality results from initiation to completion while seeking guidance when necessary. This is a full-time, exempt role reporting to the Senior Program Manager & Business Operations. This position is open to candidates ideally based within a commutable distance of our offices including Portland, ME, New York, NY, San Francisco, CA or Portland, OR; where you'll enjoy a flexible hybrid working environment. Exceptional candidates based outside of the listed locations may also be considered. Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of defined strategic projects, defining project requirements and driving teams to meet goals.
  • Oversee interconnected projects, managing KPI reporting and tracking metrics such as customer launches and deal count.
  • Collaborate with senior PMs and leadership to deliver project components, ensuring clarity and efficient resource allocation.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders, managing meetings and driving alignment.
  • Work with stakeholders across Business Units to align projects with organizational goals, considering resources and budgets.
  • Utilize project management methodologies to enhance velocity and adaptability.
  • Improve and streamline business processes, implementing efficient workflows and standardized procedures.
  • Contribute to the build-out of business operations processes and new reporting mechanisms.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of technical project management experience and/or advancement within cross-functional areas of subject matter expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes and principles; skilled at communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
  • Highly collaborative working style with the ability to engage and align cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Ability to facilitate internal end-user adoption and proficiency.
  • Proficient with waterfall, agile, and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • High proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Asana, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate internal end-user adoption and proficiency of new systems and applications.
  • Proficiency in technical systems and software development processes; able to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  • Strong understanding of business operations for a global corporation, with knowledge of financial management and B2B sales processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
