About the position

Inserso is seeking a Technical Project Manager/Operations Center Manager to provide mission-critical support. This role involves managing a support team of approximately 33 FTEs, overseeing NOC, NOSC, Service Desk, and ServiceNow support on a 24x7 contract. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for Task Order planning, execution, and reporting to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements, acting as the primary point of contact for USSS.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the single point of contact for USSS, owning all Contractor activities related to the order.
  • Manage the cost, schedule, and performance of Government contracts of similar scope, size, and complexity.
  • Provide management oversight of multiple concurrent project activities across various IT disciplines.
  • Understand and apply project/program management techniques and methods for Information Technology used throughout DHS and similar agencies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and IT Operations Center functions.
  • Coordinate and perform multiple assignments in a dynamic work environment.
  • Supervise contractor personnel and ensure professional performance and timely deliverables.
  • Ensure contractor employees understand and abide by USSS established rules, regulations, and practices.
  • Discuss and plan daily activities, workload, and job scheduling priorities with the USSS PM and PO.
  • Coordinate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) in assessments and incident responses.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Top Secret clearance required, possibly SCI requirement as needed.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology, or 10 years of equivalent experience in system architecture.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
