About the position

The Technical Project Manager at For The Record Ltd is responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of complex audio/visual technology projects. This role requires a strong background in project management, particularly within the audio/visual industry, and involves planning, stakeholder management, resource allocation, risk management, quality assurance, client relations, and budget management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, with a focus on enhancing project outcomes through effective communication and technological expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for audio/visual/software projects.
  • Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
  • Execute projects in adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and expectations.
  • Establish trusted working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular written project updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage resources to ensure project tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address and resolve issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality audio/visual solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of deliverables before client handover.
  • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures when necessary.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging audio/visual technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management within the audio/visual industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience delivering complex enterprise scale engagements with values over $2.5M.
  • Knowledge of audio/visual technologies and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
