About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee project management operations and strategic planning to ensure the successful delivery of email marketing solutions. This role involves establishing project standards, processes, and governance while fostering relationships with functional leaders to drive project implementation and adherence to organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and directs project management operations and strategic planning to meet organizational goals.
  • Provides overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, ways of working, training, and tools used for effective project delivery.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with functional leaders to enable successful project management implementation.
  • Works cross-functionally to drive implementation and adoption of project management standards and practice, including ongoing coaching and training.
  • Develops and monitors a risk identification, mitigation, and resolution framework to enable successful project completion.
  • Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions.
  • Establishes methodologies to set productivity and quality targets and to assess results for all projects and drive larger organizational KPIs.
  • Monitors and analyzes project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems and to propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects.
  • Monitors and drives adherence to organizational budget, project timeline, and project resource goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management operations and strategic planning.
  • Strong governance skills for project management including establishing standards and processes.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with functional leaders.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and coaching in project management standards.
  • Proficient in risk identification, mitigation, and resolution frameworks.
  • Ability to respond to escalated project issues and coordinate solutions effectively.
  • Experience in setting productivity and quality targets for projects.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor project metrics and propose improvements.
  • Experience in budget management and adherence to project timelines.
