About the position

The Technical Project Manager will lead the implementation and optimization of ERP systems within the IT department. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring stakeholder engagement, and overseeing the entire project lifecycle to facilitate a smooth transition to new or upgraded ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define business requirements and create a project plan for ERP implementation.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, including scope definition, budget control, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and communication.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams of developers, business analysts, and end-users throughout the implementation process.
  • Conduct thorough system testing and ensure seamless data migration from legacy systems to the new ERP platform.
  • Partner with vendors and consultants to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and address potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users after the ERP system is deployed.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in ERP implementations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably with a focus on ERP implementations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems and their functionalities (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data migration tools and methodologies.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe Agilist, etc.
