About the position

The Technical Project Manager will lead and manage complex technology projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. This role requires excellent coordination of multiple projects, effective communication of progress, and management of interdependencies among projects.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and oversee project scope, constraints, and schedules.
• Quantify and communicate progress, milestones, and blockers to stakeholders.
• Coordinate across multiple projects aligned with departmental strategic goals.
• Develop and manage risk and issue management plans.
• Use tools like Delivery Risk Assessment and Clarity to track and identify issues.
• Develop project organization charts, governance structures, and define roles and responsibilities.
• Identify and strategize changes in scope, schedule, and cost.
• Create transition plans, document lessons learned, and apply these insights to future projects.
• Balance stakeholder needs, negotiate tradeoffs, and gain buy-in from resistant groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8-12 years of project management experience.
• Strong project management skills with experience in coordinating multiple projects and managing interdependencies.
• Proficiency in client project management tools and methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of Linux OS.
• Expertise in risk and issue management, including developing mitigation strategies.
