About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Buxton Company is responsible for leading and executing high-impact, cross-functional software and analytical projects across the enterprise. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and project management skills to ensure alignment with organizational goals and deliver impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects within dynamic environments, particularly in professional consulting or large-scale corporate operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise-wide projects, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across multiple teams.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Drive project execution, monitoring progress, and proactively resolving issues to keep projects on track.
• Facilitate regular status meetings, providing updates to senior leadership and stakeholders while ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Assess project performance and document key learnings to improve future initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Serve as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing enterprise-level projects, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Proven experience managing large-scale technical projects, particularly those involving complex data integration and system transitions.
• Strong technical understanding of software development processes, database systems, and cloud infrastructure.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) preferred.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
