The Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the support team for New York's 911 System Integration. This position requires a seasoned professional who can manage a project team dedicated to the build, testing, and implementation of the Next Generation 911 (NG911) program. The successful candidate will ensure that all technical requirements are met and will be responsible for test management throughout the project lifecycle. As a liaison to various agencies, the Technical Project Manager will facilitate project management for Class 1, Class 3, and Call handling aspects of the NG911 program. Additionally, the role involves managing the Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) integration with NG Call Handling, ensuring seamless communication and functionality within the emergency services framework. The Technical Project Manager will also assist the agency lead with various project functions, such as managing change requests, overseeing document and deliverable management, and providing comprehensive scheduling and reporting.
