About the position

As the Project Manager for KLA, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the PSO management team to establish and enhance support strategies aimed at improving processes on a global scale. This position involves leading a project team to develop and refine service support processes, systems, and infrastructure. You will work closely with various KLA organizations, including product divisions, KLA Services, global manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration and execution of project objectives. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for crafting and developing comprehensive service improvement project plans. This includes defining schedules, allocating resources, outlining business requirements, designing infrastructure and systems, and managing budgets. You will also create mitigation plans to address any project changes, scope creep, or delays that may arise during the project lifecycle. Your leadership will extend to training technical personnel on new procedures and processes, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. You will track project requirements, achievements, and schedules, providing regular updates and progress reports to management. Coordination of all project elements will be a key aspect of your role, requiring you to manage tasks, resources, collaborators, and any conflicts that may arise, while making informed trade-offs between competing requests. Additionally, you will establish a support strategy for ramping processes, infrastructure, and personnel on a global scale. This includes tracking and reporting on infrastructure design and reliability issues or bugs to IT support teams. You will run efficient meetings, assign ownership of tasks, track project progress, and generate meeting minutes and action items to ensure accountability and transparency. Your ability to inspire change and foster a positive change management environment will be crucial as you work with the management team to handle project risks and implement mitigations. Streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and drive progress will be a continuous focus throughout your tenure in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and develop overall service improvement project plans, including schedules, resources, business requirements, infrastructure and systems designs, and budgets.
  • Create mitigation plans to address project changes, scope creep, and delays.
  • Lead and train technical personnel on new procedures and processes.
  • Track project requirements, achievements, and schedules.
  • Provide project updates and progress with management.
  • Coordinate all elements of a project, including tasks, resources, collaborators, and conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • Master's Level Degree and 1 year of related work experience; or Bachelor's Level Degree and 3 years of related work experience.
  • Experience with project management tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of process quality improvement methods.
  • Experience in service delivery for capital equipment.
  • Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
  • Experience in enterprise process development and release.
  • Strong analytical, database, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence process partners and drive multi-functional improvement.
