We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a desire to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to guide the development of our portfolio of products, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. As a Technical Project Manager, you will develop detailed project plans that include milestones to track progress and timelines. You will coordinate internal resources and vendors for project execution, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and within scope. You will also identify risks or barriers and escalate them as necessary. Managing client request intake in Jira Workflow will be a key responsibility, as will managing public site feedback and analyzing site metrics. You will support the writing of quarterly deliverable reports and facilitate meetings, ensuring that notes and action items are documented and followed up on.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, to track progress and timeline.
  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors for project execution, including research, promotional materials development, design tasks, resource data, development, implementation & release, and community engagement.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
  • Identify risks or barriers and escalate as necessary.
  • Manage client request intake in Jira Workflow to be prioritized by team managers.
  • Manage public site feedback, including bugs intake, content requests, and training information.
  • Analyze and report on site metrics.
  • Coordinate with contractors to manage resource database.
  • Support in writing quarterly deliverable reports to describe site metrics and resource data maintenance efforts.
  • Support meeting facilitation, including taking notes, sending out follow-ups and action items.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in managing software development projects in an Agile environment.
  • Experience facilitating daily stand-ups, iteration planning, sprint reviews, sprint releases, and iteration retrospectives.
  • Ability to execute using Jira from planning to execution, including time estimating practices for project planning and resourcing.
  • Experience in post mortem (Retro) and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices.
  • Ability to communicate with management and stakeholders, protecting the team from uncontrolled injection of work.
  • Experience managing project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements.
  • Ability to work with team leads in resolving project roadblocks and cross-functional issues.
  • Experience maintaining team data in project management software (i.e., JIRA) to support estimates and execution.
  • Support product managers with intra-team dynamics regarding priorities and scope.
