About the position

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects within a long-term contract framework. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management, particularly in leading and delivering systems implementations across different countries and regions. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and Adaptive Project Framework (APF). A solid understanding of cost elements in large, complex, and multi-platform environments is essential. This includes familiarity with IT platforms, vendor costing, and optimization strategies. The role demands deep process knowledge or industry experience in these areas, as well as experience in managing external vendors and users for multi-disciplinary systems. The Technical Project Manager will need to exhibit high competence in people management, effectively engaging with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners. In addition to project management skills, the candidate should possess strong analysis and design skills, a process-oriented mindset, and a good grasp of project management principles, policies, and processes. The ability to think systematically and apply common sense is crucial. Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external, are required, along with advanced knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methods. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, result-oriented, and possess strong communication skills, both spoken and written. They should be task-oriented, timeline-driven, and have a problem-solving mentality, with sensitivity to different cultures and working styles.
