About the position

The Technical Project Manager will lead and facilitate small to medium IT projects, working closely with business units to achieve their goals. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage vendor relations and ensure successful project outcomes. The position involves developing business solutions, conducting gap analyses, and collaborating with various stakeholders to implement effective changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate teams for small to medium IT projects.
• Work with business units to achieve their goals.
• Identify business and information needs and develop appropriate solutions.
• Manage vendor relations and partnerships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and transition plans with ongoing success measures.
• Assist with quality assurance procedures and end-user testing.
• Build user stories and use cases.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management/business analysis or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
• Experience in managing vendor relations and partnerships.
• Advanced knowledge of IT systems and processes.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with healthcare enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of different testing methods and automated testing.
