The Technical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and managing cross-functional Agile Scrum teams, both co-located and distributed. With over 12 years of IT experience, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. The role requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to drive solutions through analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the Project Manager will lead meetings with various stakeholders and drive projects from inception to completion. In this position, the Project Manager will organize and coordinate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. They will contribute to process improvements, risk and issue resolution, Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and Product Planning. The use of Agile tools such as JIRA and ALM for work item management, team performance tracking, and reporting is crucial. Additionally, the Project Manager will utilize project management tools to manage the project lifecycle effectively. The ideal candidate will maintain teamwork and collaboration within and across teams, contributing to Agile adoption among all stakeholders. They will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects according to priorities while adhering to established guidelines and standards. A motivated individual who enjoys working with people and executing project delivery is essential for this role. While technical knowledge in distributed platforms such as Java/J2EE, AI/Client, Python, Angular, and Microservices is required, coding skills are not necessary. Basic knowledge of Generative AI is also preferred, although no prior experience is needed. Professional certification or training in Agile Scrum Project Management, along with a thorough understanding of Agile concepts, is expected. Experience in the credit card, retail banking, and mortgage industries is highly preferred, along with certifications such as PMP and CSM/CSP.
