About the position

The Technical Project Manager at CACG LLC is responsible for overseeing all aspects of program and project management for federal clients. This role involves developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, while ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards. The Technical Project Manager will monitor project progress, communicate with stakeholders, and manage project resources to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement in project management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and track project progress, performance, and quality.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, sponsors, and senior management.
  • Prepare and deliver regular and ad hoc project reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and reviews.
  • Document meeting minutes and action items.
  • Manage project resources, scope, schedule, cost, quality, team, stakeholders, contracts, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and policies.
  • Manage project closeout and ensure completion of all project deliverables and lessons learned.
  • Support project governance, audits, and evaluations.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in project management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the defense or security sector.
  • Experience in applying project management methodologies and best practices, such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Experience in monitoring and tracking project progress, performance, and quality.
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
  • Experience in communicating project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, sponsors, and senior management.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering regular and ad hoc project reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Experience in coordinating and facilitating project meetings, workshops, and reviews.
  • Experience in managing project resources, scope, schedule, cost, quality, team, stakeholders, contracts, and documentation.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and policies.
  • Experience in managing project closeout, and ensuring completion of all project deliverables and lessons learned.
  • Experience in supporting project governance, audits, and evaluations.
  • Experience in implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
