About the position

The Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in driving Apple's Supplier Carbon Solutions team, focusing on transitioning the global supply chain to renewable energy and reducing carbon footprints. This position involves building internal business processes, leading greenhouse gas inventory efforts, and developing tools to enhance supply chain capacity. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop internal business processes to enable programmatic scale and efficiency.
• Drive and lead efforts in annual supply chain wide collection of Greenhouse Gas inventory.
• Construct new tools/platforms and manage annual reporting/compliance requirements.
• Develop tools needed to build supply chain capacity to address GHG emission profiles.
• Partner closely with cross-functional Apple teams including supplier development, data and systems, and Environment+Policy.
• Build consensus among internal and external stakeholders in support of new tools and system development.
• Clearly communicate to non-technical or non-environmental audiences.

Requirements

• Experience in project management, particularly in environmental or sustainability initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with greenhouse gas inventory processes.
• Ability to develop and implement tools for data collection and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with diverse audiences.
