About the position

As a Technical Project Manager at eSimplicity, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of technical project requirements. This role involves tracking project progress, anticipating roadblocks, and engaging with customers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables are met on time. You will work closely with engineers, product teams, and external stakeholders to manage expectations and mitigate risks, ultimately steering high-impact projects to success.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise between teams of engineers and customers to drive successful product deliverables, adhering to scope, resources, and timeline.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and identify projects heading off-course or facing upcoming roadblocks.
  • Communicate proactively with all stakeholders to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Create detailed status reports on measurable items, such as milestones, deliverables, and risks.
  • Develop detailed project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals, coordinating business and technical personnel during all project phases.
  • Review proposed modifications on project plans and meet with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in project management.
  • Ability to manage a project against key timelines and milestones with high attention to detail.
  • Experience in product support/software testing or related experience, and/or a CS or Engineering degree.
  • Experience managing a team of engineers and engaging with product teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate software architecture decisions to external stakeholders and create technical documentation.
  • Ability to understand product strategy and ensure it is implemented properly on your team.
  • Code management/collaboration experience, with key tools including Jira and GitHub Enterprise.
  • U.S. citizenship and current possession of a secret security clearance that has been adjudicated within the past five years.
