About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee the management and support of MS Office 365 Migration and technicians at CompuCom. This role is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension, focusing on project planning, team management, and risk mitigation to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training for technical staff
• Plan and set project requirements and standards
• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring progress towards milestones
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address issues
• Define deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for projects
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure project success
• Maintain and update production technologies, ensuring proper maintenance and installation

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in Project Management or related technical field required
• Proficient using MS Excel Spreadsheets and manipulating data
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
• Experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
• Strong time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
• Documented Project Management Foundation
