About the position

As a member of the Zoom Enterprise Applications team, you will build and support backend integration automation solutions across various business areas including Engineering, QA, and Dev Ops. This role is pivotal for those who are excited about creating innovative solutions from the ground up and are eager to work with the latest technologies. You will play a crucial role in leading Zoom's evolution into a robust enterprise application organization. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the complete lifecycle of IT Business Applications programs/projects, from the original concept through to final implementation. This includes developing detailed execution plans, managing project financials, tracking progress, and ensuring that all milestones are met efficiently. In this position, you will partner with key stakeholders to build comprehensive project plans, schedule tasks, and designate responsibilities to team members. You will work closely with Engineering, QA, Dev Ops, and Product Owners to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing as planned. Your role will also involve managing issues and risk mitigation plans, overseeing the change order process, and conducting readiness reviews to maintain the overall health of the program. You will be expected to apply best practices and methodologies, including both Waterfall and Agile, to ensure that projects are executed effectively. Additionally, you will facilitate team organization and ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, ensuring transparency in team progress through metrics like velocity and burn down/up reporting. Collaborating with the Product Owner in backlog grooming will also be a key part of your responsibilities. You will participate in architectural review sessions, drive governance across teams, and influence strategic decisions to enhance process efficiency. Your technical knowledge of systems like Salesforce and Zuora will be essential in understanding the solution design of the projects you manage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders to build a project plan and identify all key milestones for project completion.
• Schedule and designate tasks to specific team members.
• Work closely with Engineering, QA, Dev Ops, and Product Owners.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT Business Applications programs/projects from original concept through final implementation.
• Develop a detailed program/project execution plan and manage all phases of the project including financials, progress status tracking, and reporting.
• Monitor scope creep, testing, and release to production.
• Provide overall project management as per the governance model with standup and weekly Core team meetings.
• Manage issues and risk mitigation plans, change order processes, and overall health of the program using best practices and methodologies.
• Facilitate small team organization and ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
• Ensure full transparency with velocity, burn down/up reporting, and communicate team progress with value-focused metrics.
• Collaborate with Product Owner in backlog grooming.
• Apply consistency and best practices through project initiation, planning, and execution phases with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Participate in Architectural review sessions, drive governance across teams, and help evolve processes to be more efficient.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 years of experience in project management or a related occupation.
• 6 years of experience in Project Management; Scrum Master with practice of Scrum.
• Technical skills for Salesforce and Zuora systems.
• Project Solution Design experience.
• PMP Certification.
