About the position

As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various technical projects within the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system analysts, and stakeholders, to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Your expertise in project management methodologies will be essential in guiding the team through the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. In this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies. You will facilitate regular project meetings to track progress, address any issues, and ensure that all team members are aligned with project goals. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in managing expectations and fostering collaboration. Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring that all project milestones are met. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting project status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and any necessary adjustments to the project plan. Your leadership skills will be vital in motivating the team and driving project success.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role in IT or software development.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms.
