About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Ingenuity Design Group is responsible for overseeing product development projects across various engineering disciplines. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and scopes while ensuring that technical solutions meet client specifications. The position requires collaboration with engineering teams and clients to define project requirements and manage expectations, as well as providing hands-on technical leadership during critical stages of product development.

Responsibilities

  • Leading cross-functional teams in the design, development, and delivery of electronics products from concept to market
  • Managing project scope, timeline, and budget while ensuring technical solutions meet client specifications and quality standards
  • Collaborating closely with engineering teams on design and development, offering insights based on electronics engineering expertise
  • Interfacing with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and manage expectations
  • Overseeing risk management, change control, and continuous improvement processes for all projects
  • Ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget while adhering to regulatory and industry standards
  • Providing hands-on technical leadership during critical stages of product development, including prototyping, testing, and product integration
  • Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • A formal project management certification is preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in technical project management, specifically in electronics product development
  • Proven track record in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced consultancy environment
  • Hands-on experience in electronics design and product lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software integration, sensor systems, and product testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and with external clients
  • Understanding of a variety of production/manufacturing processes
  • Experience in communicating with and evaluating local and offshore suppliers
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 & 9001 regulatory requirements pertaining to product development
