About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee a Databricks and Power BI program, ensuring effective communication between business users and IT leaders. This role requires a strong understanding of the Data and Business Intelligence (BI) landscape, particularly with Databricks and Power BI, to facilitate discussions and drive demonstrations. The Project Manager will be responsible for tracking project milestones, resolving functional and technical blockers, and managing timelines to ensure successful project delivery. The ability to conduct Power BI report demonstrations, gather feedback, and collaborate with the offshore team for necessary adjustments is crucial. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an onshore-offshore model across different time zones, managing multiple Data and BI projects simultaneously. Familiarity with Agile methodology is essential, as the Project Manager will need to manage projects within this framework. Additionally, experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical sector is considered a plus. Strong presentation skills are required to effectively communicate program accomplishments to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Databricks and Power BI program as the Project Manager.
• Communicate effectively with business users and IT leaders to understand their requirements.

Requirements

• Strong business communication skills to interact with users and IT leaders.
• High-level understanding of the Data and BI landscape, specifically Databricks and Power BI.
• Mandatory understanding of SQL and data analysis skills.
• Proven project management skills to track milestones and manage timelines.
• Experience conducting Power BI demos and gathering feedback.
• Experience working in an onshore-offshore model across two time zones.
• Proven experience in managing multiple Data and BI projects.
