About the position

Patriot LLC is seeking a full-time Technical Project Manager to oversee and manage projects within the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The role emphasizes agile development and requires extensive experience in IT project management, particularly in software development, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and providing oversight of project requirements, ensuring that deliverables meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide requirements analysis and management support in consultation with AHRQ.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, and risk of projects.
• Develop and maintain key project management deliverables, including project management plans, business cases, project charters, and risk management plans.
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and team members.
• Support project activities such as scheduling meetings, documenting decisions, and tracking action items.
• Conduct comprehensive stakeholder engagement to improve awareness of system requirements and challenges.
• Manage teams responsible for fulfilling project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer or information systems sciences from an accredited university; Master's degree preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of overall IT project management experience.
• Extensive experience in agile development, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with system design and development processes.
• Familiarity with government contracting and compliance requirements.
