About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Edifecs will oversee the planning and execution of implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals. This role involves managing project lifecycles, coordinating cross-functional teams, and acting as the primary liaison with clients to facilitate successful project delivery and identify new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage overall project plans including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements for Edifecs engagements.
  • Monitor and report progress/changes against the project plan.
  • Motivate and direct the project team, which may include cross-functional departments, third-party vendors, partners, and clients.
  • Manage the lifecycle of implementation projects for new clients and applications, as well as existing clients with modifications.
  • Review architecture documents to ensure they meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Create project and proposal documentation, content, and estimates.
  • Contribute to and evolve the implementation methodology continuously.
  • Lead multiple complex deployment projects at marquee customers.
  • Manage resource requests and calendar for deployment teams.
  • Define project plans for the implementation team.
  • Provide budgetary estimates for new implementation contracts and track budget and time/effort costs across all projects.
  • Maintain project status and provide periodic status reports to customers.
  • Manage issues and risk logs for assigned projects.
  • Set up a triage process with internal departments for problem resolution.
  • Manage project escalations to triage resolution with product support.
  • Interface with relevant partners at customer sites to ensure project success.
  • Lead business analysis efforts to gather and document business requirements and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement business solutions that meet project objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in a software vendor professional services organization.
  • Demonstrated hands-on technical expertise in the healthcare industry.
  • 5 years of experience utilizing standard project management methodologies.
  • 5 years of experience interfacing with customer delivery teams, both onsite and internally.
  • 5 years of experience explaining and documenting application requirements.
  • 5 years of experience leading business analysis and process improvement projects.
  • 5 years of experience prioritizing and delegating in a resource-constrained environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
