About the position

As a Technical Project Manager at CompassMSP, you will be responsible for orchestrating the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects for clients. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of technology solutions while meeting client requirements and project timelines. The position is crucial for supporting and empowering technical teams within the Central Operations of the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage timelines, budgets, and scope of projects to exceed expectations.
• Handle multiple projects of varying sizes simultaneously, ensuring each receives appropriate attention.
• Coordinate project activities with clients and team leads to foster collaboration and alignment.
• Initiate projects, manage workflow, and ensure support teams are prepared for success from intake to closure.
• Assist in managing client expectations, ensuring clarity and satisfaction throughout the project journey.
• Oversee every detail from planning to execution to ensure projects are delivered effectively and on time.
• Ensure a smooth handoff to support teams for ongoing client success.
• Provide regular updates to management on project progress.

Requirements

• 5 or more years' experience in a similar role preferred.
• Experience working with an MSP in a TruMethods operating model preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
• Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with peers and customers.
• Self-directed and focused with strong problem-solving and planning skills.
• Highly detail conscious with strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Ability to work with remote teams.
• Preferred system experience using ticketing systems (ConnectWise, ServiceNow, etc.).
