About the position

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Prime Contract with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. This role involves serving as the project manager for a large, complex task order or a group of task orders affecting the same system. The Technical Project Manager will assist the Program Manager in collaborating with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s), ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner and within budget. The position requires the creation and submission of contract deliverable documentation and reports to the customer, including monthly Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and In-Progress Review (IPR) briefings. The Technical Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of 12 personnel, tasks, projects, installations, and customer/stakeholder engagements. After-hours support may be required for coordination and guidance to team members to resolve unscheduled outages and/or engineering efforts. Additionally, the role involves high-level overview, coordination, and validation of ongoing engineering Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) efforts, including AV integration and life-cycle scheduling of conference rooms, integration and upgrades of VTC systems and infrastructure, as well as the creation and review of Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and other technical documentation. The Technical Project Manager will also conduct system analysis and provide recommendations for new AV/VTC technologies to the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall execution of specific task order(s) ensuring timely and budget-compliant implementation of technical solutions and schedules.
  • Create and submit contract deliverable documentation and reports to the customer, including monthly CDRL and IPR briefings.
  • Oversee day-to-day management and oversight of 12 personnel, tasks, projects, installations, and customer/stakeholder engagements.
  • Provide after-hours support for coordination and guidance to team members to resolve unscheduled outages and/or engineering efforts.
  • Coordinate and validate ongoing engineering AV/VTC efforts, including AV integration and life-cycle scheduling of conference rooms.
  • Conduct system analysis and provide recommendations for new AV/VTC technologies to the customer.

Requirements

  • Must have a strong technical background in Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) support utilizing Cisco, Crestron, BiAmp, and Extron technologies.
  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience and 6 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
  • Minimum Education: BS or BA or four (5) additional years of related experience.
  • Active IAM Level II certification.
