About the position

The Technical Project Manager (Level I) at Structured Communication Systems, Inc. is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing IT projects while serving as the primary liaison between internal teams and technical aspects of the projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards, while also facilitating communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, establishes, and manages IT projects within an agreed scope.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact and liaison between internal teams, customers, and technical aspects of assigned projects.
  • Defines priorities, documents project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develops and maintains detailed project plans, scheduling timelines, and budgets for all assigned projects.
  • Collaborates with internal engineering resources to identify potential risks or unforeseen delays and develops response plans.
  • Participates in creating design alternatives that meet customer requirements.
  • Ensures project quality standards and compliance with customer policies and regulations.
  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends to prepare project status reports.
  • Facilitates project status meetings and communicates project status to key stakeholders.
  • Tracks activities in the CRM tool, Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in engineering, project management, or a related field, or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management Methodology and best practices as defined by PMI.
  • Achievement of either a CAPM or PMP certification from PMI is preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in information security project management.
