About the position

The Technical Project Manager will join the ezyVet Data Engineering team at IDEXX, focusing on improving processes and efficiency in the data conversion process for new veterinary clinic customers. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring customer satisfaction, and collaborating with teams across different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from sizing and scoping to implementation, closure, and handoff to support.
• Own the process of continuous improvement in data conversion for new customers.
• Help modify projects as necessary to meet business needs.
• Manage and administer ongoing projects, identifying and planning workflow process improvements.
• Build project plans, including necessary deliverables and schedules.
• Collaborate with teams across different time zones, including those in Auckland and London.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a project manager or in a similar role.
• Scrum certification or project management qualification preferred.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Confident in facilitating meetings and discussions.
• Understanding of programming concepts.
• Passionate about efficiency and process improvements.
• Eager to learn and adapt.
• Ability to plan and prioritize deliverables between Software Solutions Engineering and Data Engineering teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Data Engineering Project Lifecycle and SDLC.
