About the position

AIDA Healthcare is seeking a Project Manager to oversee software development projects aimed at improving care transitions for patients across the United States. The successful candidate will manage at least one software development project, coordinating weekly releases of new features and bug fixes. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including Product Managers, Technical Support, Account Managers, and Sales, to ensure customer requests and concerns are prioritized effectively. The Project Manager will also support customer implementations and assist Technical Support Analysts with root cause analysis for bug reports. In addition to project management responsibilities, the role involves daily coordination of customer-facing meetings to promote and support products, leading meetings with software engineers to manage releases, and providing rapid responses to customer inquiries. Weekly tasks include ensuring safe and timely releases of new code, assisting with product roadmap updates, and coordinating the design of new features. Monthly responsibilities involve reviewing the performance of the software engineering team, preparing reports on product performance, and reporting on personal OKRs to management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, particularly in translating technical concepts for non-technical team members and customers. Experience with Agile methodologies, quality assurance best practices, and cloud-based enterprise software solutions is essential. Responsibilities

  • Being the project manager of at least one software development project.
  • Coordinating weekly releases of new features and/or bug fixes for at least one software development project.
  • Coordinating the development of technical designs and acceptance criteria for new features.
  • Working with Product Managers, other Project Managers, Technical Support, Account Managers, and Sales to maintain priority for customer requests and concerns.
  • Supporting Customer Experience Project Managers with customer implementations.
  • Supporting Technical Support Analysts with root cause analysis for bug reports and issue investigations.
  • Supporting UX Designers in developing designs for new features and/or products.
  • Supporting Data Analysts in developing reporting tools and products for external and internal purposes.
  • Coordinating/participating in customer-facing meetings to promote, develop, or support products.
  • Leading meetings with software engineers to manage releases and remove barriers to completion of issues/tickets.
  • Providing rapid responses to customer inquiries about anything impacting a product or software project you support.
  • Performing basic monitoring of the reliability and performance of the product(s)/application(s) you are responsible for and taking action to address any poor performance.
  • Ensuring that new code is released to production safely and on schedule, including testing that the acceptance criteria for a given issue/ticket are met prior to release.
  • Assisting with updates to product roadmaps, including the specification of priorities and communicating changes in priority to relevant company stakeholders.
  • Coordinating the design of new features and/or products in conjunction with engineers and designers.
  • Evaluating enhancement requests from customers and determining whether and how these requests are prioritized.
  • Leading a review of the performance of your software engineering team in the previous month and determining what actions need to be taken to improve performance.
  • Preparing reporting on the overall performance of the products/applications you support to leadership using relevant metrics.
  • Reporting on progress with personal OKRs to your manager.

Requirements

  • Experience with managing projects and/or writing code for cloud-based, enterprise-class software solutions.
  • Skill with supporting an Agile-minded product development team composed of UX designers and software engineers.
  • Experience with implementing and/or maintaining quality assurance best practices.
  • Skill with identifying key decision points and efficiently building consensus around the best decision for the company.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly when translating technical concepts and jargon for non-technical team members and customers.
